PVA Rig Description

Solid PVA bags are an incredibly effective way of fishing for carp. These Korda PVA Bag rigs come tied using the highly popular and very versatile Wide Gape hook pattern and 18lb Supernatural braid in weedy green pattern, and at 4.5 inches in length are the perfect choice for PVA bag fishing.

Rigs don’t come much more simple than this knotless knot set up, but the hooking potential is enhanced via the use of a short piece of silicon tubing over the eye of the hook to help it flip round and take a hold in a carp’s mouth. They are suitable to be used with pretty much any bait, as they come with free Extenda stops provided so that you can get just the right amount of separation between the hookbait and bend of the hook

 The rigs are finished with a loop at the other end and can be attached to your chosen lead set-up using either a loop-to-loop knot or via a QC swivel. The rigs come in packs of three in a choice of size 4, 6 or 8, in both barbed and barbless.
