Universal Top 2 Kit Description
Male joints on Series 7 Top 2's are fitted with an elastic protector 'nose cone'. The small foam rubber cone is specially shaped to centralise the elastic and keep it away from the edge of the carbon tube. This effectively prevents damage to the elastic when top 2's are folded in half for transportation and storage.
The tip of this top 2 is fitted with a slim external PTFE bush which is ideal for all lighter elastics up to at least No.8 and is perfect for green bungee rated 6-8. This section can be cut back further to take slightly larger bushes.
The bottom 45cm of the No.2 section is reinforced with an extra carbon overwrap making it safer and easier to cut back the female ferrule to fit your particular pole section.
