The PikePro XL retention sling is ideal for short-term retention of big pike and catfish, floating retainers offer a safe means of retaining a predator for you to capture that photo. PikePro have developed a retainer that will handle even the biggest Pike which doubles-up as a weigh sling too, reducing fish handling to a minimum.
The extra-strong webbing straps have been angled to reduce stress on the sling and the depth has been reduced to comfortably hold monster Pike. A 5m long retaining cord is supplied to enable the retainer to be positioned away from the margins, allowing a Pike to recover whilst camera and weighing equipment are prepared.
Pike should be retained for an absolute minimum of time for their safety.
