November has started very well for members of St.Ives Tackle, especially those who have been out targeting Predators in these colder conditions. Paul Marriot has been fishing a small Fenland River and catching some lovely Zander up to 6lb. Legering small dead Roach from Baitbox on the bottom has produced regular action for Paul.
Simon Irvine has been ever consistent catching some lovely Perch on a local Fen drain, including several specimens over 2lb. Float fishing Lobworms proving to be a very successful tactic for him. James Chalkley had his first visit to the Fen Drains this year for an early morning session targeting the Pike on a local Fenland Drain. He was soon rewarded when his float fished Bluey section was taken by a lovely 15lb specimen, making the early start at dawn more than worthwhile.
The St.Ives Lakes Fishery Complex has also got off to a great start with several 20lb Pike captured recently and some really good doubles. The ticket for this 8 Lake complex is great value with a winter ticket running from 1st November to 31st March 2020 for just £70.00 and £40.00 for concessions. These tickets are available in store now.
