St. Ives Tackle Team Member Valius Paskonis braved the Winter weather and was rewarded with this lovely specimen carp. Valius caught mirror carp legering his favorite boilies out towards an island.
Paul Marriot headed out to fish for zander and managed to catch one in a short session after work. Its good to see short sessions paying off for Paul who has managed to bag quite a few perch and zander this Winter.
Shop owner Mike Bartlett has been Pike fishing a local drain and caught a lovely 15lb pike on legered bluey dead bait set up on a running rig. The fishing was hard with strong winds making the fishing difficult. The local drains have also been producing plenty of pike to anglers who have been brave enough to venture out.
