St.Ives Tackle - Monster Mekong Catfish.

St. Ives Tackle Team Members have got the New Year off to a great start on the fishing front with Gee Brown enjoying a trip over to Gillhams Resort in Thailand. First cast using half a tin of luncheon meat as bait and catching a massive Red Tail Catfish getting his fishing holiday started in style. He also went on later that day to land an enormous 180lb Mekong Cat which took him over one and a half hours to land!

Harry Green made an excellent start to his St.Ives campaign catching a lovely double figure Mirror Carp on the Ivo Lake at the St.Ives Lakes Pits Complex. The trusty Sticky Baits Manilla boilies working their magic again.

Braving extremely windy conditions Harry Stirling has been out and about catching some lovely scale perfect Common Carp doing just day sessions. Sticky Baits Manilla proving successful once again. And shop owner Mickey Bartlett enjoyed a great days Pike Fishing on a local gravel pit landing five Pike up to double figures. Legered smelt being the method of the day to be using.
